Nigeria is the most populous country in Africa, with rich cultures and incredible potentials. Fair tropical weather, large lands filled with rich soil, great history combined with the presence of generous, friendly and always welcoming people. Don’t base your opinion of Nigeria on what you hear in the news. Sadly, the international media companies only show the bad sides of our country, and many of these events take place in another region of Nigeria, far from where WWOOF Nigeria operates. WWOOF Nigeria’s office is located in Ibadan, a cool and safe city in Nigeria, almost 130 km to Lagos Commercial city.

We cover, for now, the most safety part of Nigeria (South Western states – Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo, Ekiti, Edo and Kwara). WWOOF Nigeria always takes pain to make sure that every security measure are in place for the safety of their guest. WWOOFers will be picked up at the airport, visiting our office for documentation before joining the host. Check our Safety tips for more information on safety measures to WWOOF in Nigeria.

For more information about the African way of WWOOFing, please read an article from Benjamin Olatilo, our coordinator, at WWOOF International conference in Korea 2011 (wwoofing Opportunities in Nigeria).
